This website is a showcase. It presents antique jewellery held by L'Œil au Trésor and the gemmological expertise services offered by Julian Lafosse.
No sale is concluded through this website. There is no shopping basket, no online payment and no ordering system. Every piece shown is presented for information purposes only, and any acquisition takes place in person, by appointment, after direct discussion.
3. The pieces presented
Each piece presented is unique and antique. Descriptions, periods, attributions, materials and weights are given in good faith and reflect the state of knowledge at the time of publication.
Photographs are as faithful as possible, but colours, tones and the appearance of stones may vary depending on your screen and on lighting conditions. Photographs are not contractually binding.
Where prices are shown, they are indicative and expressed in euros. A piece displayed on this website may already have been sold or reserved. Availability is confirmed only at the time of the appointment.
4. Appointments
Appointments are made through the booking page on this website, by email or by telephone. They take place at a private location in Uccle, Brussels; the exact address is communicated once the appointment is confirmed.
Booking an appointment creates no purchase obligation on either side. If you are unable to attend, please cancel or reschedule as far in advance as possible.
5. Expertise and advice
Valuation, authentication and advisory services are provided by a gemmologist certified by HRD Antwerp.
Any valuation is an informed professional opinion given at a specific point in time, based on the piece as examined and on market conditions at that date. It is not a guarantee of resale value, nor an insurance valuation unless expressly stated in writing. Terms, scope and fees are agreed before any such work begins.

All content on this website, texts, photographs, the logo, the graphic identity and the structure of the site, is protected by intellectual property law and remains the property of Julian Lafosse or of the respective rights holders.
